A Chicago area girl born and bred, I've lived in Mississippi, Montana, Michigan, and...ten years in the wilds of northeastern Indiana, where I fought the noble fight as a book editor. Now, I'm back in Illinois once more...for good. (At least I intend to make it that way!)

...Not nearly as dangerous as I thought I was!

Mine's rated PG! I expected a G, like yours, but no! Who'd'a thunk it?

What earns it this rating, you may ask?

The rating service quotes the following words: "murder" used twice. Now this I can understand. Mind you, it's literary murder, not the real thing.

But the kicker is "missionary"! Obviously not for the young, sensitive, or faint of heart! After all, we can't have our precious & impressionable KIDS exposed to such things!

Murder and missionary. Both dangerous words. Get the book-burning bonfire ready.

T2-

I think the "missionary" word sets off a sex-trigger on the rating system rather than a religious one, doncha know...so not to sweat the missionary murders.
:-)

T1, who is amazed that she's rated G
